Kawardha Palace

Kawardha Palace -
The Palace was Built in the 1930s . It is a heritage site that is located in the Maikal Hill. The palace now houses a world class  hotel that bears the same name as the Kawardha Palace in Kawardha,  India. The Palace was designed and built under Maharaja Dharamraj  Singh between the period 1936 and 1939.






Radha Krishna Temple - It is one of the oldest temples in Kawardha. The Temple is dedicated to Radha Krishna . It is visited by many  pilgrims . The temple was built by some 180 years ago by one of the
ancestors of Raja Ujiyar Singh.

Bhoramdeo Temple
Bhoramdeo Temple - There is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Bhoramdeo was once the capital of the Nagwanshi rulers. Manjari Mahal is located nearby. Bhoramdeo Temple was built during  7th to 11th century AD in the banks of River Sakri  by King  Ramchandra of Nag dynasty . The king married Princess Ambika Devi  of Haiya Dynasty. The temple is Known as the `Khajuraho of  Chhattisgarh . The temple is surrounded by the Maikal Range of  mountains. The Bhoramdeo temple is carved on the rocky stones in  the Nagar style with different entrance gates .

Madwa Mahal - The shiva temple  is also known as Dulhadeo. It is  shaped like a marriage pandal. The temple  was built as a memorial  of the wedding of the Nagwanshi King Ramchandra Deo and the  Haihawanshi Queen.

The Kanha National Park - The Park is  home to more than 200 bird  species . It is one of the main tourist places of Kawardha in  Chhattisgarh .
The Baigas of Kawardha are among the most primitive tribal  Communities in India.

Taj Mahal
