Tawang Monastery , Arunachal Pradesh

Tawang Monastery : It is the largest Monastery In India and 2nd Largest In Asia. It is located at a distance of 180-km From Bomdila, Tawang District, Arunachal Prdesh. The Monastery is a 400 years old Buddhist monastery and was founded by Mera Lama. Many tourist come here to visit The Monastery.

Itanagar is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. The name Ita comes from the Ita fort, which was built in the fourteenth century. Another tourist destination is   Buddha Vihar which is a Buddhist shrine. Other places which are famous- Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, Ganga Lake, Itanagar Sanctuary, Polo Park etc.

It is a beautiful  small town rich in culture. The town is situated at the height  of about 8000 feet above the sea level. It is famous for the Buddhist Monastery situated here is the headquarters of West Kameng District. Among the things and places that will attract you to this place are its cool climate, apple orchards,
snow capped peaks and Buddhist Gompas
(monasteries). Many tourists visit Bobdila every year.

Golden Pagoda , Arunachal Pradesh
Golden Pagoda is located in the banks of River Teang  in Namsai District of Arunachal Pradesh. The Pagoda was built by over 300 Myanmar’s architects and skilled masons.  The Pagoda has installation of 13 crown atop the stupas with Lord Buddha’s relics from India, Thailand and Myanmar. There is model ,  the Kala Buddha of Nalanda archive.
There is also a centre for cultural research of the Tai Khamti- Singpho tribes, a library and a Monastery/Monk’s hostel. The major tribes living there - Khamtis and Singphos . The Khamtis and Singphos are Buddhists of the Theravada School. Khamtis has script of their own only .

Bhismaknagar 
Malinithan and Bhismaknagar  are the two important archaeological sites of Arunachal Pradesh. Malinithan is sacred because of its association with Lord Krishna otherwise it is ruins of a temple site.

Taj Mahal

Located in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh, the world famous Taj Mahal is one of the seven 'Wonders of the World.' Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal stands as a symbol of eternal love for centuries.

Akshardham Temple

The massive temple is located in Delhi, on the banks of the river Yamuna. The temple complex sprawls over 100 acres, is an amazing world of Indian culture ornate with 20,000 statues, floral motifs, arches and intricately carved pillars.

Golden Temple

The Golden Temple or Sri Harmandir Sahib or Sri Darbar Sahib, is situated in Amritsar, Punjab. Built by Guru Arjan Sahib, the temple is visited by thousands of devotees throughout the year.

Air : Flights operate to the Rajasansi airport at Amritsar from many national destinations. Rail : Regular trains operate between Amritsar and national capital Delhi. Victoria Memorial ( KOLKATA )

The memorial situated in Kolkata, West Bengal was built in attempt to match the Taj Mahal. Charminar

How to Reach- By Train-Mysore is connected with a number of trains to Bangalore. The super fast luxury train the Shatabdi Express connects Mysore to Madras. The quickest and most comfortable way to reach Mysore is via Bangalore.

By Air - The nearest airport to Mysore is Bangalore (139 km). By Road -Mysore is 139kms to the south west of Bangalore, well connected with rest of India.
